The Bikers.co.uk community
Motorcyclists and cyclists share the same roads and the same weather. This is one home for all of us.
What membership includes today
Membership is free and stays free. Right now members get the support desk, where a real person points you to the right help after an accident or with any rider problem. You get the newsletter with community news, events and gear deals. And you get early access to every feature as it lands, from the marketplace to the mobile apps.
Founding members matter here. The people joining now are the ones telling us what to build, and they'll get the first beta invites when the apps are ready.
There's a referral scheme too. Every member gets a unique code, and sharing it with friends who join moves you up the rewards ladder, with bigger discounts on kit and gear the more riders you bring in.
Nothing here is locked behind a paywall either. Membership costs nothing because the point is scale: the more riders in one place, the better the answers, the deals and the events get for everyone. Your postcode, your bike and your experience all add something.
How the community behaves
The rules fit on one line: look out for each other. Wave, nod, stop when a rider's stranded at the roadside. That culture is the whole point of putting motorcyclists and cyclists in one place.
A few things we don't do. No brand wars, because the right bike is the one that gets you out riding. No sneering at L-plates, cargo bikes or commuters. And no illegal riding content. What happens on closed roads and tracks is racing. What happens on the public highway is everyone's problem, and we won't host it.
New riders get the warmest welcome of all. Everyone was the person wobbling away from the kerb or stalling at the lights once. If you ask a beginner question here, you'll get a straight answer from people who remember how it felt.
How to get involved now
Join free and you're in. Reply to the newsletter and tell us what's working and what's missing. Tell us what a rider's app should do, what the marketplace has to get right, and which events and routes deserve a place on the site.
If you run a club, a ride-out or a bike night, we want to hear from you too. The events calendar is growing, and the best listings come from the people actually organising them. Getting your event in front of thousands of UK riders starts with one message.
However you ride, you count the same here. Sunday leisure cyclists, daily commuters, track day regulars, courier riders, tourers with a hundred thousand miles behind them. The community works because every kind of rider brings something the rest don't know.
This community is being built in public, one member at a time. The earlier you join, the more of it is yours.
